-Preschooler 2 Teacher, Newton, MA Every day is a new day at TLC. One of my favorite parts of the day is when a storybook comes out. A circle full of kids settles and grows quiet. All eyes are on the reader. They are all curious about what story will be told or what pictures they will see. Like us, they all seem to like a good story and are compelled to make one of their own to figure out their world. I enjoy being part of creating a safe space where all our children can play, explore, and practice their social skills. When they have a comfortable space where they feel they are heard and supported, they really grow, and oh, the places they go!! I love being a part of that! I began my teaching experience as an Assitant Teacher at TLC in 2022 and supported teachers in the Toddler, Preschool, and PreK classrooms as needed during the 2022-23 school year. After completing the required coursework, I have gained my Teacher Certification for the Toddler and Preschool age group and look forward to learning and growing alongside the children in the classrooms. |
